Fill the Void Movie Review:
The film isn't exactly rousing in its conclusion, but it's always respectful: a serious ethical inquiry into matters of women's choice, both imposed and seized upon. Check it out. Joshua Rothkopf-Time Out New York From the dense, textured carpet of her characters' emotions, Burshtein draws gorgeous threads and holds them to the light. Diana Clarke-Village Voice This romantic melodrama, written and directed by Rama Burshtein, has an irresistible allure despite its bathetic drift. Richard Brody-New Yorker A dreary, tiresome dirge about passion and dis-passion, if memorably performed by impressive lead Hadas Yaron. Shaun Munro-What Culture The film unfolds in unhurried dramatic terms that come to take on an almost fatalistic force. Andrew Schenker-Slant Magazine For its clarity and lack of pretension alone, Void stands apart ... beautifully acted Kent Turner-Film-Forward.com
